About the Artist
Mary Kimball is a true outdoors woman. Her first trip to the Northwoods of Minnesota was at the tender age of two weeks. Raised in a family of outdoor enthusiasts, Mary's love for wildlife and nature makes her wood carvings come alive.
Mary started painting decoys as a hobby twenty five years ago. Over the years this hobby has progressed into a full-time passion, which now includes wood carving, wood burning and painting.
Mary is a member of the Minnesota Woodcarvers Association - Metro Chapter. She has taught several classes on her feather carving, and is an instructor for the MN Wood Carvers Assoc. Metro Chapter.
